Kicking off Human Things 2.0 with Alycia Wood of the C.S. Lewis Society. In this video we review VP Kamala Harris and her view of natural rights and the kind of rights we have in virtue of the Declaration of Independence. The right to life is the preeminent right among natural rights because all other rights can be enjoyed if we are allowed to exist, yet in the video of Vice President Harris, she leaves out this key right as elucidated by the Declaration of Independence. In the last part of the video Alycia Wood and Jay talk about strong bodily autonomy claims in light of Charlotte Shane’s article. In this article pregnancy is cast in a most intrusive and invasive way.
